Hi. It’s Gus. Your friendly neighborhood cow. In the grass fields me and my siblings have been learning about questioning for WEEKS. Honestly it has been VERY boring but here is what I learned. The questioning we have been learning about is Costa’s levels of questioning. Costa’s levels of questioning involve Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3.

Level 1 is a right there question.A right there question is a question. A right there question is a question where it basically just gives you the information in the text and you don’t need to look in to the text where it is not obvious. Example, What is the character’s name?

Level 2 is a read between the lines question. A read between the lines question is like this. Why did the main character act that way? As you can see that is more advanced.

Level 3 is a very informed question. A very informed question means it explains a lot of information. It is also Making Judgments. Here is an example. What is your opinion of…?

So that is questioning I hope you enjoyed reading it. Questioning can be advanced or very easy to answer.
